Adventure Drivers
Adventure Drivers
You're in the lead, then a nitro-powered car zooms past, a bomb explodes right in front of you, and you flip your car on the slope. That's Adventure Drivers, a 2D racing game set on a tropical island with 30 tracks full of obstacles, items, and opponents who don't hesitate to play dirty.
What Do You Have to Do to Win?
The goal is simple: finish first. But the tracks are anything but simple. Each level has slopes, pits, bombs, and speed-boosting arrows scattered everywhere. You have to keep your car from flipping, collect coins and treasure chests, keep an eye on your opponents, and use weapons at the right time.
The starting car is an old, sturdy but slow hippie minibus. As you accumulate enough coins, you unlock 11 other car types in the shop and upgrade their performance to handle more challenging tracks.
What Makes Adventure Drivers Different from Typical Racing Games?
Stunt Scoring (Level-Linked)
Performing car flips on slopes or rough terrain not only looks cool but also increases your ranking points after each stage. To achieve the highest trophies, you need to balance speed and the number of stunts performed.
Power-Ups and Game-Changing Weapons
Pick up power-ups along the way and throw weapons at opponents using the Enter key. Being at the front isn't always safe, as cars behind you can attack at any time.
Controls
- Flip car: A/D or Left/Right arrow keys.
- Throw weapon: Enter
- Nitro: Shift
Tips for Beginners
- Use nitro after passing a slope, not before. Throwing nitro on rough terrain can easily cause your car to lose control and flip.
- Don't ignore treasure chests, even if they're off the main path. Chests give more coins than scattered coins, and some unlock permanent items on side islands.
- When being chased by an opponent, proactively flip your smaller vehicle to block their path instead of trying to escape using pure speed.
