Turball.io

Turball.io is a browser-based car soccer game, similar in style to Rocket League. You drive your car towards a large ball and try to score against your opponent.

The ball changes direction very quickly, so each maneuver only takes a few seconds. You must time your shots, calculate the angle, and remember to keep your own goal.

• W A S D: Drive
• Left mouse: Turbo
• Right mouse: Jump
• Shift: Drift
• Q or E: Rotate car in the air
• Space: Change camera angle
• If you prefer using arrow keys, change them in the settings.

How to Play Turball.io from the Start

Read the ball before accelerating

At the start of the game, your car appears on the field, and the ball is ready in the middle. Don't press turbo repeatedly. Turbo will get your car to the ball quickly, but overdoing it will cause you to miss the touch and leave a gap behind. Drive forward, look at the ball's direction, and then accelerate at the end. When the ball bounces high, right-click to jump and use Q or E to adjust the car's angle in the air.

Practice your skills in free play

Free play is a pressure-free training ground. You can get used to drifting, you can try different jumps, and you can see how the ball bounces after each hit. Now try to push the ball from various angles to feel the impact force. If you feel like it, you can jump into a multiplayer match and customise your car to your heart's desire.

Tips for scoring and keeping the net in Turball.io

• Accelerate at the end: run close to the ball before left-clicking. Holding turbo throughout the entire run can easily cause the car to overshoot the ball and leave your own net open.
• Change camera according to the situation: press Space to lock your view on the ball when you need to aim; turn it off when you want to observe the car's position around the field.
• Drift to corner: hold Shift when cornering sharply. The car turns around faster, giving you time to change direction when the ball bounces back.
• Jump and adjust the car: when the ball is high, right-click to jump, then use Q or E to rotate the car in the air to hit the ball at the right angle.
• Know when to retreat: if you or a teammate has charged forward, someone must stay near the net. Chasing the ball at all costs often leads to conceding a goal.
