Sky Riders

Wheels touch the runway. Look down: there's no ground. Sky Riders is a 3D stunt driving game where the track floats in the air, and losing control means a straight crash.

  • Genre: 3D stunt driving, aerial racing.
  • Vehicles: 9 cars and 5 motorcycles, with speed, acceleration, braking, and handling parameters.
  • Three modes: Campaign (100 challenges), Race against random opponents, Endless.
  • Controls: W or up arrow to move forward, S or down arrow to move backward, A or D to navigate, Space to brake.

What does Sky Riders offer besides aerial racing?

The campaign includes 100 challenges, each with a different track layout. Some levels have many consecutive tight turns. Some levels feature sudden drops followed by immediate platform movement.

Race places you next to random opponents, with no time to scout. Endless has no destination, only the question of how long you can last.

Earn stars in each level to unlock cars and upgrades.

Car Control: Read the specifications before racing

The right car makes racing easier

Long straights prioritize speed. Narrow curves prioritize braking and handling. Using the wrong car type puts you at a disadvantage right from the starting line.

Three mistakes that cause beginners to fail at the beginning of a level

Keeping the throttle open in tight corners. Braking too late before the narrow section. Not using the handbrake when a sudden stop is needed. These three mistakes account for most of the failures of beginners.

How to play Sky Riders

High speed doesn't always guarantee victory

If you're on a tight corner or moving platform, let go of the throttle sooner than you think you need to. When turning a corner, brake gently first, then steer, and then accelerate again once the wheels have taken up the correct direction. If the car slides, don’t immediately steer in the opposite direction; ease off the throttle, wait for stability, and then adjust.

Tips for unlocking cars faster

Start with Campaign mode. Get familiar with the roads, the cars, and understand the traps before trying Race mode.

Look far ahead on the runway instead of at the wheels. Looking far ahead leads to more accurate reflexes.

  • Straight track: maintain throttle, stay in the middle of the track.
  • Tight corner: release throttle early, brake gently, and only accelerate again after passing.

Sky Riders is suitable for those who enjoy challenging their real skills. Each drop provides information for adjustment. Each restart is an opportunity to fix a detail. Short enough to play in your free time, yet deep enough to replay multiple times.
