Smash Speed could appear to be just a straightforward arcade racing game, where players simply put the pedal to the metal and smash into everything in sight. Most new players make the mistake of immediately crashing into an opponent as soon as they appear. In reality, the collision system works based on the difference in vehicle level:

• Level mechanics: Starting vehicles are small and can only crush opponents with lower levels. Hitting your target will give you experience points to level up, while crashing into high-level vehicles or any fixed obstacles will make you lose instantly.
• Attack Timing: Ramming is only effective if you have correctly judged the level of your opponent. When your car is weak at the beginning of the run, it is much safer to dodge large vehicles to the sides than stubbornly try to collide.

Financial Management in Smash Speed: When Should You Accumulate Money?

Cash dropped on the road isn't just for decoration; it directly impacts your instantaneous power threshold during the run.

• System Linkage: Collected money activates mid-run vehicle upgrades. The more money you have, the faster your vehicle's base level increases, expanding the group of opponents you can safely overwhelm.
• Optimal Strategy: Instead of risking rushing back and forth to hunt opponents on obstacle-filled sections of the track, follow the flow of collecting money. When you reach a breakthrough level, the game will shift from a defensive to an aggressive stance, helping you reach the finish line safely.

To understand Smash Speed, you have to be able to switch between building your patience and breaking through. Grasping how the currency you collect relates to the number of collisions will change every run in-game from a gamble into a calculated, proactive journey.
