Turbo Type 3D
Turbo Type 3D
Turbo Type 3D, launching on October 1st, 2026, is a browser-based racing game that combines typing and racing. The starting light turns green. Four opposing cars speed off, while your car remains stationary because you haven't typed anything yet. Each correct key press propels your car forward a short distance.
What happens if you type incorrectly? Your car stops immediately, the key turns red, and it only restarts when you type the correct key again. No Backspace is needed. Here, accuracy is just as important as speed.
How to play Turbo Type 3D from the starting line
Select the mode, track, and car from the menu and press Enter. After the countdown, type the text at the bottom of the screen. Turbo lasts approximately 7 seconds, and typing incorrectly will immediately turn it off.
Basic Controls
- A: Type the key to drive; each correct key propels the car forward.
- X: Incorrect key press stops the car until you press the correct key.
- Tab: Press 25 consecutive clean keys to recharge Turbo, then press Tab to fly.
- Right Arrow: Follow other cars closely to gain wind resistance and increase speed.

Opponents and Tracks
Opponents race at your pace
Four AI-controlled opponents, with speeds close to yours. The faster you type, the faster they follow. Therefore, every race is close, whether you're a beginner or an experienced player. Unlike Nitro Type, where you race against real people, there are no direct opponents and no chat.
Six Tracks, Each with Its Own Style
Green Hills features grassy hills, brick bridges, and three jump platforms. Canyon is a red rock canyon. Snow Peak is covered in snow. City has bridges over canals. Volcano runs on stone bridges over lava. Moon Base has low gravity, allowing cars to fly further and longer each time they pass a jump platform. In Options, the Sky section lets you race during the day, sunset, night, or rain.
Recommended Modes to Try First
- Race: Race against four opponents, with Turbo and drafting.
- Daily Race: One new track and one new challenge each day. First to finish the day earns 100 coins.
- Time Trial: Race against the ghost car of the best runner. Gold requires 50 WPM, silver 35, bronze 20.
- Practice: The game remembers your frequently misspelled keys and creates custom training challenges. No opponents.
Coins, Cars, and Maintaining Accuracy
Each race earns coins. Finishing high, running without misspelled keys, or breaking speed records earns extra rewards. There are 72 cars in the Garage, four free cars, and 100 initial coins are enough to buy your first new car. Purchased cars can be painted in 12 colors.
Tip for the first race: Don't try to type carelessly to catch up. One wrong key will stop the car and deactivate the Turbo, while a flawless race will earn you a reward. Accuracy is also given more weight than speed when leveling up. Progress is saved directly in the browser; no registration required.
Try a race in Green Hills without making a single mistake. Turbo Type 3D will show you how accurate your typing is.
